The Fit and Deadly Futures Program, delivered by Moorundi Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service, is providing an online presence for health education with a focus on healthy lifestyle activities. This is helping create innovative modes of delivering education to community groups, while highlighting positive outcomes and community resilience during the ever-changing landscape of COVID-19 restrictions and life post COVID-19.
The Fit and Deadly Futures Program has developed six ‘Meal Prep Monday’ videos showcasing easy and nutritious recipes from the Open Your World website. The project has also produced a ‘Fit and Deadly Health News’ clip demonstrating that healthy food can be purchased on a budget. Further videos are in production and will be available in coming months.

Youth running groups established by the project have encouraged Aboriginal young people to engage in regular exercise, with training culminating in a fun run event held in May.
